Big Canoe Amenities and Activities
The amenities and activities available in Big Canoe are numerous and varied. The 27 hole Joe Lee designed golf course offers some of the finest golfing available in the Southeast. During our vibrant leaf season from October through late November, a golf outing in Big Canoe is a memorable event as the long range mountain views laced with the colorful fall leaves is a spectacular sight.
Big Canoe also has three cold water lakes that are stocked annually and are home to some of the largest trout you will ever catch! Big Canoe also offers a full service Fitness Center with state of the art equipment, personal trainers, yoga and Pilates classes, indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, and racquet ball courts.
Other amenities include Lake Disharoon's swimming beach and waterslide, miles and miles of beautiful hiking trails, soccer fields, baseball fields, and the Wildcat Recreation Area which includes both adult and children's swimming pools. The children's swimming pool is virutally an aquatic playground!
